Porter County Search and Rescue

Porter County Search and Rescue is a SAR team based in Porter County, in Northwest Indiana. We are made up of personnel from member agencies of the Porter County Fire Association.

We provide law enforcement agencies with a trained group of search managers and ground searchers in order to locate lost or missing persons or evidence of their location.

Additionally, we are part of the Indiana Dept of Homeland Security District 1 Task Force. As part of the D1 Task Force we are available as a state and regional asset when called upon.
